The new ‘Quest for Adventure’ ship will be setting sail on her inaugural cruise in May 2012, taking a maximum of 466 passengers to some of the world’s most fascinating places. 'The Inaugural Cruise' departs on 6th May for a 9-day exploration of the British Isles and Ireland. Travelling from Southampton along the coast of England, Wales and Scotland, as far a Tobermory the cruise visits the vibrant ports of Ireland, with stops in Londonderry, Dublin, Cobh as well as the Isle of Man and Guernsey. Guest speakers will be onboard to provide their expertise and further insight into the ports of call. Prices start from £1,477 per person and include 8-night’s full board cruise and the VIP Home Departure service.  Optional excursions are at an additional cost.

One of the new itineraries in 2013 takes passengers to ‘The Cape of Africa’.  Highlighting Africa’s striking landscapes, cosmopolitan cities, palm-fringes beaches and vibrant cultures this memorable cruise travels along South Africa’s Cape Coast and Mozambique’s eastern shores. There’s also the opportunity to experience Zulu culture in Duma Zulu village and ‘spot the big five’ in Addo Elephant Park. Departing on 14 February 2013 the 17-day cruise costs from £3,115 per person and includes 14 nights’ full board cruise plus the VIP Home Departure Service. Optional excursions are at an additional cost. Guest speakers on board include Kieran John O’Cuneen, a Zulu expert and former ambassador to Angola and Swaziland.

All ‘Quest for Adventure’ cruises offer exceptional value for money and the brochure leads in at £1,337 per person for an 8-day cruise to Norway ‘In the footsteps of Vikings’. Departing on 14 May 2012, passengers can take in the stunning Norwegian scenery of Jotunheimen National Park and journeys into the heart of the fjords aboard this nimble ship as it puts into ports and harbours that are out of the reach of larger vessels, to reveal roaring waterfalls, mighty glaciers and snow–capped mountains. Further afield the ‘Quest for Adventure’ explores beautiful Mexican art, classic cars in Havana and world famous wonder of Chichen Itza on the 16-day Mayan Adventure. This extraordinary cruise visits some of the most intriguing places in Central America with a thorough exploration of ancient Mayan temples and elegant Spanish architecture from the time of the conquistadors, as well as exotic wildlife and verdant forests. Departing on 17 October 2012 the 16-day cruise costs from £3,104 per person with the opportunity to choose from a number of excursions including a Havana walk or experience life in Belize’s crooked tree wildlife sanctuary. Cost includes 14 nights’ full board cruise, plus the VIP Home Departure Service. Optional excursions are at an additional cost.

For a true Caribbean experience, ‘Rhythms of the Caribbean’ travels over Christmas with highlights to include a hike along a river trail in Trinidad, relaxing on the palm-fringed beaches of Barbados and Kayaking through Antigua’s rainforest. This 16-day cruise, departs on 19th December 2012, and cost from £3,200 per person with guest speaker Ernie Rea, a religious affairs broadcaster who worked for the BBC for nearly 25 years.
