A new version of NextReports reporting suite is now available for download!

Jan. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Version 5.0 of our reporting suite comes packed with a great number of improvements, meant to help you finish your reporting tasks faster and easier.

With NextReports Designer 5.0 you can  do mass actions on reports in order to reduce the time spent in development. Another new feature is the ability to publish or download your reports from NextReports Server with a single click.

Starting with NextReports Server 5.0, you can change your data source and modify your dashboard global settings through a “bulk” feature. On the look and feel aspect, you can add your company logo to the server application screens, and change the colour theme to one of the predefined themes we’ve included. Now, you can customize the dashboards with one, two or three columns, modifying the aspect of the dashboard as needed in order to have full and fast access to essential information.

Because all server settings are now stored in JCR, you don’t have to restart the server when upgrading, and all configurations can be reapplied directly form the application interface.

As of version 5.0, you can set a timeout to dashboard widgets to avoid waiting indefinitely for long running SQL queries.
