Is Tomtom or new GPS units Dangerous for Toronto Airport Limo|Limo Toronto Airport Taxi|Cab Drivers

Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Traffic rules are getting stricter by the day, In UK, Canada or America The police fines us for just looking at our cell phones but These Tomtom or newer GPS devices & softwares are going in wrong direction. They literary want the driver to stop for 15 minutes add there information or if start their drive to keep tapping on the screen as if the vehicle was parked. once you tap for city then the street and the the no after all this tapping on the screen if you are aToronto or new York limousine driver or in Toronto New York Transportation or a Taxi driver then youll be risking your life beacuse even after the Street No  Your tomtom gps device or maybe other new device wants you to touch the screen twice 2 times more for the stupid so called LIve traffic confirmation....

While you are driving they will keep updating you for POIs or Toll Raod so you might end up touching the screen maybe few more times. As I Said I think TOm tom new sofware is dangerous for any drivers not only toronto Airport Taxi or Toronto Airport Limo Drivers. Either they should smarten up and make these GPS devices on auto mode so that they would confirm all these skill sets which a driver has to go through to get the desired Address. I think International  Transpostation laws should be followed properly by these devices...I think either they should immedialtey amend the software or it should be customizable according to the new Traffic Laws.
I am now getting very unconfortable when i see a driver playing with the GPS for longer time than usual infact its the GPS unit which keeps driver attention away from the road not the Driver himself as they are forced to keep pressing OK button for stupid to get the point of destination.

I wish i can go back 10 years and stop myself from buying my first tomtom device on a palm pilot from future shop. I simply wish I can go back all these 10 years and stop telling million of those limousine clients about tomtom being the best. AS TOMTOM CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DISASTER.
Yes this is another story I think these GPS Navigation comapnies have to amend the new software and make it easier for specially the new drivers instaed of showing us the disclaimer when we switch these devices on.....
