Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- I had an egregious loan with a 7.5% interest and pick-a- payment options.  Since the principal and interest payments of $3,200 per month were about 65% of my income, I had to opt for the lower payment which put me in a negative amortization of $700 a month.  My annual income had decreased as well in this economy.

My bank was useless and as unhelpful as you read about in the news.  Sure, they gave me loan modification applications but refused my request 4-5 times.  I was ready to stop making my mortgage payments and let everything go…that is how desperate I was financially.

Then I got a mailer from Nationwide Law Center, Attorney at Law and my first response was suspicion, but for some reason I kept the mailer.  I hired them.  Friends said I was making a big mistake.  Even my mortgage broker said I was better to allow my home to go into foreclosure than hire someone and lose that money as well.
