-- Blue Ridge Mazda, a Mazda dealer in Kansas City, is excited to announce that Mazda has picked the Paris Motor Show, this September, to unveil the next-generation Mazda6. Over the years the Mazda6 goes a little under the radar due to the fact that it directly competes against the Honda Accord as well as the Toyota Camry. With this fresh re-design and fresh aesthetics, consumers will be drawn to the Mazda6 as it still features Mazda’s “Zoom-Zoom’
spirit as well as excellent fuel efficiency.
Although a whole lot is not know about the next-generation Mazda6, we do know that it will take a lot of inspiration from Mazda’s Takeri Concept, which debuted last November at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Takeri Concept vehicle is fully infused with Mazda’s new design language, “Kodo” which directly translates to the ‘Soul of Motion.’ This will definitely be a change for Mazda enthusiasts as they have grown accustomed to Mazda’s Nagari design language, the famous Mazda smile, but with the switch Mazda expects consumers to enjoy the sharper vehicle nose and boxier feel. The new Mazda6 will also feature a SkyActiv engine, but it is not known at this moment in time which engine in particular will be featured in the next-gen Mazda6.
