Pinot’s Palette comes to Tulsa in March of 2012

Pinot’s Palette set to open on Tulsa's historic Cherry Street in March of 2012.

Jan. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- (TULSA) – “Pinot’s Palette is so much fun. It’s different than the normal night out,” according to Tulsa native Lisa Riley, who is the proud new owner of the first Pinot’s Palette franchise to open in the Tulsa area. Riley is set to open Pinot’s Palette in March in the Cherry Street District, which an ideal location for a business whose slogan is “Paint. Drink. Have Fun.”

At Pinot’s Palette, customers sign up for two- or three-hour painting classes while enjoying wine, snacks and other drinks with friends. They depart at the end of the evening with their own 16-inch by 20-inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas, having laughed and sipped their way through a real, live (and very fun) art class--or as some call it, “painting party.”

“I have always wanted to open a business where people walk out of the door happier than when they came in, and Pinot’s Palette has that unique ability” says Riley. Initially, the Cherry Street studio will offer classes several days a week, ultimately expanding to hosting open classes or private parties every day of the week.

Pinot’s Palette is staffed by local artists who teach the lively painting classes, which typically attract “Girls’ Night Out” groups, “Date Night” couples, families and anyone looking for a fun filled evening out. The classes also cater to painters of all levels ranging from beginners to the more experienced.

“I feel that Tulsa is really embracing the arts right now and people are ready for a new way to engage,” according to Riley. Not surprisingly, the feedback she’s received to date is incredibly positive, “People are EXCITED to attend our classes and extend their imaginations while having a good time with family and friends.”

Charles Willis, president of Houston-based Pinot’s Palette, agrees that, “with Cherry Street being near downtown and with so many great restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops, it sets the perfect stage for Pinot’s Palette coming to Tulsa.”

“We are very excited to have Lisa on board and we truly could not think of a better person to introduce Pinot’s Palette to Tulsa,” adds Craig Ceccanti, CEO of Pinot’s Palette. “Lisa’s energy and enthusiasm has been wonderful and we are looking forward to working with her to expand our concept throughout the Tulsa area.”

Pinot’s Palette operates two company-owned locations, one franchise in the Houston area, and one franchise in the Dallas area and expects to open more franchises nationwide in 2012. It provides full franchise support to its new business owners.
