In 1982, TRC Electronics began as a small, privately-held company in Lodi, NJ with the goal of providing businesses with 'T'roubleshooting, 'R'epair and 'C'alibration services for power supply units. Initially, TRC Electronics provided these services which included testing and value-added work for electronic power supply equipment. During the company's early years, TRC entered into an agreement to act as both a sales representative and a stocking distributor of power supplies.
