Coco Le Vu Candy Shop Opening in NYC on Saturday January, 28
Coco Le Vu Candy Store is celebrating a grand opening of their flagship candy shop on January 28th in Manhattan.
10:00am: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
10:00am -7:00pm: The store will be open to everyone. There will be a full day of activities for kids and plenty of goodies to sample.
Coco Le Vu began operations as an event planning company specializing in candy stations but has grown and launched a neighborhood sweet spot catering to special events, kid’s parties, and gifts galore.
The colorful store front is nostalgic for adults and glorious for children. There are over 500 different types of candy to choose from, each beautifully displayed around the store. In addition to all types of candy the store features chocolate dipped fruit made by the store’s dedicated graduated dessert chef Francine Martinez. Coco Le Vu is available for private parties. The space is large enough for fundraisers or other gatherings of 100+ guests, and there is also a separate party room for kid’s parties which seats 40.
Co-Founders Christine and Nalanie Milano have combined their expertise bringing together a creative background and a business background to the successful brand. Christine Milano is the Creative Director for Coco Le Vu with oversight for the company’s creative and event planning services. She has over 10 years’ of experience in event planning.
Nalanie Milano is the Operations Director for Coco Le Vu with oversight for the management of the business. Her background with a large global investment firm has prepared her well for running the business.
Both Christine and Nalanie Milano are college graduates. Christine graduated from Baruch College where she majored in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management. Nalanie graduated Cumme Laude from SUNY Albany where she majored in Finance.
The sweetest part of this candy store is that these young entrepreneurs have opened the store in their home town neighborhood of East Harlem where they were raised. “There are deep family roots here in East Harlem but this store will be inviting to people from all neighborhoods”
