Jenne to Distribute Panasonic’s Line of i-PRO IP-Based Surveillance Cameras

Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Avon, OH – January 18, 2011 -- Jenne Inc., a leading value-added distributor of IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, data networking and IT security products, announced that it has signed an agreement with Panasonic System Networks Company of America (PSNA), a unit of Panasonic Corporation of North America, to distribute the entire line of Panasonic’s i-PRO branded IP video surveillance solutions. Jenne - which has been distributing other Panasonic solutions for over 25 years – will be offering the i-PRO line of products to its U.S. customer base which consists of over 17,000 networking focused resellers.

Jenne introduces the Panasonic surveillance portfolio at a time when resellers are looking for new growth opportunities, both in networking and security. The total market for video surveillance equipment in the Americas is forecast to grow at an annual compound rate (CAGR) of over 10 percent for the next five years to be worth almost $5.5 billion in 2015. The network video surveillance equipment market is forecast to grow at a CAGR of 24 percent over the next five years*.

As part of its launch activities for the Panasonic i-PRO product line, Jenne will be offering on boarding activities such as training through its Jenne University, as well as configuration expertise and comprehensive technical support to its reseller base in the coming weeks. In addition, Jenne will provide its VARs access to a working lab for testing and evaluation.
