Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- A drop in format for the OPEN DAY between 11am and 4pm
will include:
Cold Lunch Buffet 12 noon til 2pm
Guided Tours of the entire facility every hour
including Chrysalis's Alternative Education Programs
See our £20,000 Hard Drive Shredding Machine in action
See what happens to computers brought in for recycling
See what happens to the data on recycled computers
See why computers should never go to landfill
View the “Good Causes” photographs

Local Schools will be able to check us out and see where their students do their work experience placements.  There is the opportunity to arrange school visits to complement school recycling projects.

This is also an opportunity for our corporate clients who donate equipment to us to combine this with a Duty of Care visit and observe our processes and procedures. We can provide you with the appropriate documentation for this on the day.

Airedale Computer Recycling provides many computers to local good causes and returns all its profits to the local community through its charity Chrysalis to help them provide an alternative education program for disadvantaged or excluded young people.

Award winning Social Enterprise keeps redundant IT equipment out of landfill by using it to retrain long term unemployed and making it available free of charge to local good causes or at low cost to the general public. All our profits go to charity
