Mikals Publishing announced today that their first release, "A Chip in Time," by JK Mikals reached an Amazon Kindle Store sales rank well into the top 1000 books sold for the Kindle, making it officially a Best-Seller.

A romping Sci Fi/Urban Fantasy/Romance satire, the plot centers around naive, recently divorced Cybele, who, when a Time Warp interferes with the Goddess of Time is snatched into the Akashic Records and ordered to perform a "do-over" while filming her efforts. She is to give the head fertility god an attitude adjustment, fix the time warp and save the world.

Readers have said the book "explores the profundities and absurdities of love, time, technology, and culture, but Mikals never pontificates, and she never loses the plot."
