No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party Benifting AIDS Services of Dallas
AIDS Services of Dallas will be hosting their seventh annualy No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party on Saturday, March 24.
Famous for its mixture of swanky and spontaneous, guests will be entertained with dancing, cocktails, and a silent and live auction to raise funds for housing and supportive services for ASD clients. It goes without saying that guests will enjoy delicious desserts throughout the night provided by Dallas’s finest restaurants and caterers – Komali Restaurant, Dallas Affaires Cake Company, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Bread Winners Café and Bakery, to name only a few. A DJ will keep the dance floor crowded, and a surprise performance produced by Rob Cahill will ensure the event unforgettable.
ABOUT THE CHAIRS
All-around Renaissance man, David Nelson leads the team as Chairman. Specializing in art, set design, interior design, and photography styling, David is a creative wizard and performs magic with everything he touches . . . including the No Tie Dinner and Dessert Party. Most recently, David styled the Neiman Marcus mystery gifts at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City for NBC's Today Show.
Honorary Chair Dr. Gary Tigges founded Plano Internal Medicine Associates in 1995 and has been an internal medicine and HIV specialist for 16 years. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and DIFFA Dallas, the Benefit Committees for the Elton John AIDS Foundation and amFAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) and co-chaired the 2011 TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art and amFar.
D’Andra Simmons is president/CEO of the award-winning Hard Night Good Morning beauty product line and vice-president of Ultimate Living International, Inc. in which she is co-host of the daily talk show Ultimate Living with D’Andra and Dee on KTAQ. A media expert, D’Andra has written, produced and directed a number of short films and documentaries;
