Manchester Djent act ORION signs with Rogue Records America

Jan. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Manchester UK artists ORION have signed on with Rogue Records America for an exclusive 2 albums / 2 year deal. The Instrumental Djent act has started writing material for the successor to the 2010 album “Where Whales Go To Die”

ORION’S music is melodic progressive metal  with very ambient landscapes, the album “where whales go to die” caught the attention of an A&R scout at Rogue and this prompted talks about signing up.

“When I first heard “whales” I was drawn into the music as if it were a story. I really just fell in love with the sound on first listen.”, said the labels owner Dean Martinetti.

Ryan Robb the bands founder and guitarist, had this to say “The band and I are extremely excited to be part of Rogue Records, We're already working on our full length that will be released this June and we can’t wait to see what this year brings!.”

ORION is looking to release their next record sometime in June of 2012, a date and album name will be released soon.
