South Georgia Talent Search plans to take it national

Jan. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Big Andy, of Big Andy's Market & Fun Center, begins the search for South Georgia's best entertainment act on January 28th with all day prelims.  The Talent Search will span a 10 week period with the winner headed to a national audition on a generous grand prize package.  

After opening Big Andy's Market & Fun Center last year, Big Andy has been overwhelmed with inquiries from talent acts all over South Georgia.  One thing became very clear, very quickly. South Georgia has talent!   Not only do we have talent but he has realized that we have some outstanding talent that truly deserves a national spotlight.  When he decided to do something to help make that happen for at least one outstanding act, South Georgia's Talent Search was born.

On January 28th, Big Andy will hold preliminary auditions at Big Andy's Market & Fun Center in Ocilla.   When the initial auditions are completed, a 3 person judges panel will spend the next 4 weeks narrowing the field to the 6 most outstanding acts.  Those 6 acts will compete against each other to earn the title of South Georgia's Best and will win the grand prize package.

The auditions and competitions will be recorded and televised in a similar format to many of the nationally televised talent competition shows.  During the final 4 weeks of competition, the public will vote to advance their favorite.  Voting will be available at the end of each competition to the audience in attendance and online for 5 days after the show is uploaded to the web.

The winner of the competition will receive an expense package to the most appropriate national  competition audition.  The package (valued at up to $1,000) includes 2 nights hotel expense and a travel, meals and spending allowance.  In addition, Big Andy and/or one of  the Big Andy's judges panel will accompany the winner to the national audition to support them through the process.  Contestants may register to audition online at www.bigandysmarket.com

The winner will not be required to sign a management contract with Big Andy.
