By: Newhall Klein Pete Palazzolo, CEO PGI of Saugatuck, Inc. pete@4gelato.com (269) 561-2000 ext. 2 www.4gelato.com FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: PGI OF SAUGATUCK INC ADD’S DBA: PALAZZOLO’S DAIRY, EXPANDING PRODUCT LINES AND CUSTOMIZATION CAPABILITIES (January 17, 2017; Fennville, Mich.:) PGI of Saugatuck, Inc., which earned it position as an industry leader with Palazzolo’s culinary brand gelato and sorbetto, has expanded its offerings to include a variety of dairy products made to clients’ exact specifications. Enhanced capabilities further the company’s commitment to being an artisanal extension of the businesses it serves. The success of Palazzolo’s gelato laid the foundation – and the company now offers liquid yogurt and yogurt drinks, fluid and flavored milk, soft serve and value tiers of ice cream, from Economical to Super Premium. Customers rely on the company to meet unique requirements for pack sizes, price points, ingredients and options such as organic, non-GMO, corn-syrup-free flavoring and cow-milk alternatives. A 300-gallon batch pasteurizer, homogenizer and ice cream equipment was installed as part of this “we can do it” upgrade to allow optimum customization. The test of any new capabilities is always customer reaction. “The whole team at Palazzolo’s is great to work with!” says Marty Cain of Swiss Gourmet Ice Cream. “I was in a jam with my own brand and Pete and his crew jumped right in and made me feel like part of the family as we worked to match and produce my existing product while not interrupting output during a busy summer.” Controlling every step to ensure top quality – and add flexibility – has been a key philosophy from Day 1, explains CEO Pete Palazzolo. “Our company was founded on the artisan process, which allowed us to be custom specific to each client’s request and resulted in this most recent expansion on becoming a true HACCP- compliant Grade A Dairy.” The company’s can-do attitude is also attested by Dick Marting of Chicago. “Palazzolo’ Founded in 1986, PGI of Saugatuck, Inc. (dba Palazzolo’s Artisan Gelato) got its start by giving chefs what they wanted: artisan gelato and sorbetto made fresh to order from uncompromised ingredients. The company operates a 50,000-square- End
