Chelsea Rae Gregory, Miss South Carolina International judges/hosts Miss Gardner-Webb Pageant

Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Chelsea Rae Gregory, the reigning Miss South Carolina International is busy with one of the first pageants she ever participated in.  The Miss Gardner-Webb Pageant.  As a senior at Gardner-Webb, Chelsea can remember her freshman year when she competed for her second time ever in a pageant.  Now, as a state titleholder for the Miss International system, Chelsea will be hosting, directing and judging the pageant which is open to any young woman that attends the university.

The pageant is slated for Sunday, January 29th in Blanton auditorium.  The young women will be judged on an interview which took place last Saturday with 5 different judges.  Chelsea was one of those judges.  Then during the pageant, each girl will be asked to model a fun fashion, a fitness outfit and an evening gown.  They will also perform a talent of their choice.

Chelsea, who directed and emceed the pageant last year will host and emcee again.  She has delegated the opening number to Lindsey Gladhill a dancer from  Boiling Springs, NC.

Miss Gregory has found that doing pageants is a wonderful opportunity for young women to hone their public speaking, modeling, and organizational skills.  But her real passion has been realized in helping other girls fullfill their dreams of wearing a crown.  She truly enjoys putting together the show, working with the girls, and judging.  Chelsea has competed in the Miss USA, Miss America and Miss United States systems.
