Hotel lift success for P-Access

Jan. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Public Access Limited, the UK’s leading supplier of commercial and domestic lifts, enjoyed recent success when they were asked to conduct a comprehensive passenger lift asset survey throughout the entire Queens Moat House Hotel Group which was newly acquired early last year by Rezidor Park Inn Hotels.

The comprehensive surveys were designed to highlight key areas of essential lift improvements which were needed throughout the eight site locations throughout England and Wales.

The survey identified eighteen lifts throughout the eight Rezidor Park Inn Hotel sites which were in need of essential improvements and P-Access and executives from the Rezidor Park Inns Hotels Group agreed a budget of £1 million to complete a thirty eight week project of improvements which were scheduled to take place within the working life of the hotels.

P-Access have established themselves as the ‘go to’ company for lift modernisation and lift assessment services and made a successful job of the work carried out for the Rezidor Park Inn Hotel group. P-Access concentrated their main point of focus on the aesthetic appearance of the current lift systems, together with the all important DDA compliance. To this end P-Access conducted a complete overhaul of all the existing lifts, re designing all of the fixtures and fittings within the lifts to ensure that every Rezidor Park Lift maintains a common brand appearance which perfectly meets the expectations and needs of hotel guests and staff.

In addition, P-Access implemented a complete overhaul of all drives and control systems within each lift, replacing them with state of the art lift technology designed to provide safe and smooth travel.

Both the Rezidor Park Inn Hotel Group and P-Access were delighted with the success of their partnership and P-Access now provide the company with regular lift maintenance to ensure that each and every lift within the group of hotels functions to the highest degree.

P-Access expect that their success with the Rezidor Park Inn Hotel Group will lead to more contracts with the group and other hotel groups in the future.
