Is there a [Vegetarian] Doctor in the House?
There is a huge trend of people transitioning to a plant-based diet, and their medical/wellness needs differ from meat-eaters. Medical doctors who understand and/or follow a plant-based diet are being sought for a new consumer-searchable database.

Many people who embrace a plant-based diet hold the view that typical medical doctors (such as doctors who follow the Standard American Diet) treat their patients by simply medicating symptoms and managing diseases.
Heart disease, diabetes, many cancers, obesity, and many other common diseases and ailments are not common in those who follow a plant-based diet. Therefore, plant-based adherents don’t look for “common” medical caregivers.
Vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians often prefer to find medical doctors who can collaborate with their patients in maintaining optimal health and wellness. Maintaining health is quite a different approach than managing disease!
If you are, or know of a medical doctor that is an adherent and/or proponent of a plant-based diet; such as vegan, vegetarian and/or flexitarian, please send an email ASAP with your medical credentials and contact information to HeroesForHealth@
