In addition to sharing insights and information on issues and current events not commonly discussed each week in the mainstream media. “Life Matters” also features interviews and health and wellness issues. Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 the interview portion of the show talks with Senior Pro Golfer Keith Gockenbach about ways you can create and implement a plan to "turn Pro" and get paid for doing what you love! "Ever since I was a child, I wanted to be a pro golfer," says Keith Gockenbach, who retired from a successful career as a chemical engineer to take his shot at his dream. When Gockenbach went on his quest to join the Champions Tour, where seniors and former pros compete in tournaments, he knew it would teach him about golf. What he didn't know is that it would teach him more about life. Gockenbach chronicled his life lessons, with a side order of war stories from competing in tournament qualifiers, Senior Majors, and Q-Schools, in his book Inside, Outside and On The Ropes: Life Lessons from Q-School & the Majors (www.InsideTheRopesGolf.com) Although the show is currently broadcast live from Phoenix, Arizona on terrestrial radio station KKNT AM 960, Listeners can listen on local small market radio stations, visit the shows website at www.LifeMattersMedia.com Sundays - 5 pm to 6pm MST to listen live or check out the show's website Archive to hear the show later. Another "Listen later" option that also benefits the show's rankings is to visit www.DAR.fm and record the show using the sites digital audio recorder options. (*DAR.fm is where “Life Matters” draws its coveted Top Rated . .” ranking from.) "As we put together the show we always envision it being listened to by a family sitting down to Sunday dinner." Says Bofman. With the exception of an interview on a serious subject, an atmosphere of fun, humor and good times permeates the show. "Life Matters" strives to be a fun, entertaining, informative and inspiring hour as my Co-Hosts and I agree, disagree, and discuss what our listeners deal with in their lives. Even so, its important to us that our end product be a show the whole family can enjoy together." In a world of “Shock Jocks” and “Contentious Radio Talk Shows” that apparently is what makes “Life Matters” unique.
