GAI Consultants Acquires Lee-Simpson Associates and RERC

Jan. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Pittsburgh, Pa. – GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) – a national engineering and environmental consulting firm – announced today it has acquired Lee-Simpson Associates, Inc. (LSA) and Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc. (RERC) to broaden GAI’s services in airport design and real estate development, respectively. The acquisitions expand GAI’s presence to a total of 23 locations throughout the Northeast, Midwest, and Southeastern United States.

Located in DuBois, Pa., LSA brings more than 50 years of airport engineering and planning experience to enhance GAI’s capabilities in airport design. The firm provides civil, environmental, and electrical engineering services and lends support to GAI’s work in the energy, municipal, and transportation markets. As part of the arrangement, LSA will operate as Lee-Simpson Associates, Inc., a GAI Company, serving its local customers and maintaining its office in DuBois.

RERC is based in Orlando, FL and provides real estate and economic advisory services to public, institutional and private clients.
