LoopRope® Ties Down A Permanent Place On Bi-Mart Shelves

Employee-owned Bi-Mart to add increasingly popular tie-down system to their store inventory

Jan. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- EUGENE, Ore. – Northwest-based Bi-Mart recently added a unique new product that promises to be a fit for their diverse inventory of automotive supplies, outdoor gear, and housewares.  After signing a distribution agreement in November, Bi-Mart firmed up their relationship with LoopRope®, a bungee-replacement invention that has been enjoying popularity both in the US and abroad.

Bi-Mart’s representative has enthusiastically agreed to feature Jeff Dahl’s innovative product, the LoopRope®, in the Auto Care department of their 72 stores across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.  Dahl expressed excitement about this partnership with Bi-Mart, known for its wide array of household and outdoor products, particularly since his invention itself has such a wide variety of uses.

“LoopRope® is a great product for Bi-Mart customers because its uses are virtually unlimited,” says Dahl.  “Folks can use it for everything from strapping snowmobiles to a trailer to moving furniture in the back of a pickup or SUV.  We’re very excited to be joining up with Bi-Mart.”

LoopRope® is a revolutionary fastening system that was invented in 2009 as a safer and more convenient alternative to the bungee cord.  Dahl hatched the idea of a knot-free tie down in his Medford, OR garage after a frustrating trip to the dump.  After a trial-and-error method, he eventually invented a shock cord crimped into permanent loops and secured with LoopClips®, which are S-shaped steel carabiners.

Together with Bi-Mart, the tie-down has also been picked up by US retailers Walmart, Camping World, Amazon and featured internationally in Ireland, Japan, Australia, Lebanon, and soon, the Philippines.  Dahl is rushing to keep up with orders, a good problem to have for a new business in this economy.
