VIRGINIA BEACH, VA.  January 5, 2012 – SOLUS LLC the largest supplier of trailer aerodynamics technology on the east coast, announced today that Cox Transportation Services, a Virginia based freight transportation leader has upgraded its trailer fleet with fuel saving SOLUS Split Skirt technology. Today’s announcement follows the installation of SOLUS Split Skirt products on Cox trailers.  Extensive testing by SOLUS confirmed substantial fuel savings from the Split Skirt product line and working in partnership with Cox the company has confirmed the product durability and ease of operation.  Made in America, EPA SmartWay verified, DOT approved, the SOLUS product line is compatible with all trailer configurations and satisfies all California Air Resources Board trailer aerodynamics requirements.  Cox is currently evaluating the SOLUS Wheel Cavity Cover for fleet-wide adoption.  The SOLUS Wheel Cavity Cover delivers additional fuel savings improvement of 1.3% and is available for both the tractor and trailer.
