Project management, business model development, SEO – next presentations for TMS Inspiration Days

Jan. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- TMS Inspiration Days will be held on 19-20 April in Cracow (Poland). During the conference, lectures on the most interesting technological and business issues on the translation market will be presented. A few weeks ago, the event organisers announced the first conference themes, today, the next five lecture titles are presented, including: “Creating a Sustainable Business Model for LSPs” (Ben Sargent), “Successful SEO Sales Strategies in a Multilingual World” (Richard Estevez, Gustavo Lucardi) and “Project Management Challenge - Serving Two Masters” (Bob Donaldson).
During the “Successful SEO Sales Strategies in a Multilingual World” lecture, the key elements related to Search Engine Optimisation and the creation of effective strategies of online activities will be presented. The lecture will be hosted by Richard Estevez (CEO, Trusted Translations) and Gustavo Lucardi (COO, Trusted Translations), both having 15 years of experience in SEO and Internet marketing.
Ben Sargent (Common Sense Advisory) will lead the seminar on “Creating a Sustainable Business Model for LSPs”, which will begin with a presentation of the latest results of the Common Sense Advisory research based on interviews with purchasers and sellers of translation and localisation services in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The second stage of the seminar will be an open discussion between the participants and the lecturer. Due to the form of the seminar, the number of participants will be limited.
The TMS Inspiration Days conference will also include a lecture on “Project Management Challenge - Serving Two Masters” that is devoted to the methods of effective and efficient translation project management and workflow within a company. The lecture will be hosted by Bob Donaldson, who has over 30 years of experience in technology, translation services, and market research. Bob Donaldson will also lead the lecture in the IT track titled “Deep Integration - Why it Matters”, during which the key information related to the issue and the possibilities of API use will be presented.
The IT track will also include a lecture on “Company’s online security - the possible threats and methods of protection”. The presentation will be led by Piotr Konieczny, who for 7 years has been providing advisories on network security and Internet services for Polish and foreign companies.
The earlier presented list of topics includes, among others, the following lectures: “Selling in America” (Renato Beninatto), “From Crystal Ball to Reliable: Sales Pipeline Management” (Jessica Rathke) or “Implementation of Machine Translation – case study of Pangeanic” (Manuel Herranz).
Registration for the conference is already open and the early bird rates are valid until 15 February.
