The Imitated Life picks the ten best of 2011 in movies, albums, books and stage productions

In that same spirit, The Imitated Life today issues its Best of 2011 to showcase the very finest offerings in the arts during the past year. Focusing on movies, albums, books, and stage productions, the site’s “Top 10” lists feature the opinions of arts aficionados from coast to coast. As with all such lists, let the debate begin…
   “Incredible, amazing artistic expression is happening in every corner of America,” states Jim Melone, founder of The Imitated Life. “We want people to know about what’s happening, wherever it may be. Our 2011 ‘Best Of’ lists are a way to make that happen. The greatest thing  is, unlike most Top 10 lists out there, ours is not just one person’s opinion.
