JOY! Shoppe Opens Its Crystal Doors: Stevie Nicks Fans find Gypsy Clothing, Jewelry and Accessories!

Jan. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Professional Stevie Nicks tribute artist, Barbara Joy, has opened one of the most unique stores on the World Wide Web.  Called JOY!, this new shop was inspired by Barbara's 15+ years as a Stevie tribute artist, and over 20 as a serious FAN of Miss Nicks.  "You simply cannot find authentic gypsy/Stevie style clothing, jewelry or accessories anywhere!  Once in awhile, you may come across a great vintage veiled hat at an antique shoppe, or a cool pair of lace gloves, but as far as the gathered velvet legwamers, feathered top hats, be-ribboned tambourines, hand dyed laces and feather jewelry, there is no way you can find that anywhere.  So, I decided if I wanted it, I had to learn how to make it.  Capes, shawls, the whole 9 yards.  And I did.  I taught myself how to sew and make jewelry, and just have fun and be Wild Hearted!  It grew into people saying "where did you get that" and wanted to have some of the same things I was wearing onstage, for themselves.  So I thought, I will open up a cool little shoppe, and just put a smidge of truly unique and authentic original style items in there.  And JOY! was born."  Barbara explains.
JOY! does live up to this, with gorgeous dangling hair beads (called "Bella Donna" beads, after the singer's first solo release), crescent moon Sterling necklaces that are custom made by Barbara's own jeweler, to be-ribboned black half moon tambourines, that you can play, or hang for display.  Not to mention, feather hair extensions (hand dyed in Barbara's studio, so each is one of a kind), hand blended perfume oils, as well as tiny little bottles, that we found very intriguing, as Barbara puts herbs and precious stones in these, with a little "spell casting" to bring the owner Luck, Love or many other things one might desire!  While not everyone believes in Positive thinking, Full Moons and sprinkling Gold Dust...a little Good Karma, worn in a little bottle around your neck, doesn't seem to be a bad thing :)
