iSimple Unveils megaPhone at 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show
iSimple® Formally Introduces its New Desktop Audio Amplifier for the iPhone – the megaPhone™ – at the 2012 CES Show
The concept behind the megaPhone is simple – the user lowers their iPhone into the slot at the top of the megaphone; selects a song, Internet radio station or video, and presses play. The specially designed audio channel inside the megaPhone captures the sound from the speaker at the bottom of the iPhone and acoustically amplifies it. The result is remarkably loud and clear sound without the need for a power source or batteries.
The megaPhone is ideally suited for sale through mass retailers and specialty stores, especially when positioned near the point-of-purchase as an impulse buy. The product’s packaging is designed for unassisted sell-through and features special openings that invite the consumer to test the megaPhone prior to purchase.
According to iSimple Senior Product Manager, Scott Rothstein, “As the popularity of the iPhone continues to grow, we’re dedicated to bringing out this kind of simple, easy-to-use product that helps consumers enjoy their music and entertainment at home, in the office or on the go.”
