Let Mommy Sleep, LLC launches MISSION: SLEEP - Assisting US military families, one night at a time.

Jan. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Let Mommy Sleep, LLC – the DC area’s first and only Baby Nurse agency announces the development of MISSION: SLEEP – a non-profit organization that strives to provide free, overnight newborn care to military moms whose husbands are deployed or wounded when baby arrives.

“America’s military families sacrifice time with their loved ones – even during life changing moments such as the birth of a new baby. Helping to ease the burden on a new mother by providing an extra set of overnight hands may not be the same as having Dad nearby – but we hope it will be a welcome relief during a time of extreme need,” said Denise Stern, Agency Director of Let Mommy Sleep, LLC.

MISSION: SLEEP will provide five (5) nights of in-home, overnight care and education for the family from an RN, LPN or Medical Technician, allowing mother and baby to transition from hospital to home with ease. The MISSION hopes to reach 25 families in 2012.

This month – nominations are being accepted for MISSION: SLEEP’s First Family of Shut-Eye. Nominate the family of your choosing by submitting an essay of 500 words or less before January 31, 2012 to care@letmommysleep.com. We ask that nominated parents live in the Washington DC metro area. Tell us why your nominee needs us!

The selected winner will receive a complimentary 5 night in-home overnight care package and an in-home massage treatment for mom from Agape Hands Massage!
