Boho Fashion Styles for 2012-Stylert.com

Iconic fashion houses such as Chanel,Etro, Stella McCartney,  Valentino, Missoni, Givenchy, Chloe, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera are displaying Boho inspired creations in their latest spring and summer collection.

Many celebrities wear bohemian style clothing. This look is seen every day, even on the red carpet. Bohemian is a style that never really goes away. Whether it’s a theatrical, classical La Bohème-inspired look or it’s Kate Hudson à la Almost Famous, Bohemian is always casual cool.

Although boho-chic in the early years of the 21st century represented a definite style, it was not a "movement." Indeed, the Sunday Times thought it ironic that "fashionable girls wore ruffly floral skirts in the hope of looking bohemian, nomadic, spirited and non-bourgeois", whereas "gypsy girls themselves ... are sexy and delightful precisely because they do not give a hoot for fashion". By contrast, in the first half of the 20th century, aspects of bohemian fashion were a reflection of the lifestyle itself.

Avatar beauty Zoe Saldana illustrated this trend at “The American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry” charity event at the Santa Barbara Polo Racquet Club on July 9. The actress sported a dress from Chloe S2012 Resort Collection with Valentino espadrilles, resulting in a stunning bohemian ensemble that was elegant, chic and flirty. The “Summer of Love” has indeed been replicated for SS 2012.
