Brand new 'King Arthur' eBook series launched on amazon.com for the Kindle by Camelot Hobbies

'The Camelot Prophecies' & 'Armor of Light Quest' Series are now up on Amazon Kindle and takes up the King Arthur mantle, presenting readers with a post-Arthurian world, with new heroes and fast-paced adventures in Byte-Sized chunks for all ages!

Jan. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Today, Kindle lovers will be able to download a brand new King Arthur series and re-live the nostalgia of their favorite childhood novel.  Camelot Hobbies is releasing new ebooks under the ‘Armor of Light Quest’ track and ‘The Camelot Prophecies’ volumes simultaneously.

Penned under the name of ‘Lady Antiva’ – a character within the novel itself, each volume of the eBook is given in byte-sized chunks of less than 100 pages each.  To illustrate the eBook visually, a video has been created to add excitement to this Intellectual Property at:

What stands out for this series is that it is not the usual Arthurian tale retold once again.  This series takes off at the point when King Arthur lies dying by the Lake and his final instructions.  The plot then takes the reader to a brand new Camelot which sees Arthur’s arch-enemy, Morgan Le Fay sweeping across the lands, determine to devastate and conquer it.  This is the starting point for the new heroes of Camelot – a bunch of unlikely adventurers destined to thwart Morgana’s plans, but as with all good stories – at a very high cost, and with a twist.  With deceitful spies on the inside and a fierce army raging outside, this action-packed novel will keep the adrenalin pumping, and as the reviews go – it is fun for children, teenagers and adults.

A fanpage has also been created for the associated game property where hundreds of fans have been signing up in the last two days.  Readers can leave their messages and thoughts on how the story (or game) should develop moving forward.  Readers can look forward to no less than 6 episodes in this new series.

Readers can also visit ‘Lady Antiva’s gallery’ and ‘Loremaster Porthios’ library to view some associated images and game at their websites.  The first novels under these 2 series use related artworks for continuity and provide easy visual cue for the reader.  In the first book 'Camelot Tactician' in the 'Armor of Light Quest #1' for instance, the art shows a lone 3D-modelled Tactician against a sky backdrop.  Whereas, in 'Knighthood' from ‘The Camelot Prophecies’ series - a solo Knight on a steed is used.  The art style is faithful to the genre whilst giving it an up-to-date modern look.  Readers can expect to enjoy similar art standards on the other covers from the series.

As at January 7, 2012 – 10 reviews (70% 5-star, 30% 4-star) have been posted on the amazon.com site for the first novel 'Camelot Tactician', listed in Amazon.com as follows:

5.0 out of 5 stars Stupendous eBook, January 7, 2012

Finished the entire eBook in one seating. Wish the next volume would come out fast! Then re-read the book again and referencing the other eBook LORE: Tactics Anthem Book 1 (Lore of Camelot) I bought to check for more background on the characters to see if I missed anything. I really feel stupendous as though I am the main protagonist of the story i.e. I am at the center of the universe. Was wondering about the Tactics used in the combat. I think there should be 2 series for this story - one to drive the storyline forward and the other to give the backstory and interesting facts surrounding the game. Many thumbs up for this one :)

My son likes the book. When I was younger I have read also some King Arthur stories and I know it is good. I asked my son and he said he likes it.

It would be interesting to see how Lady Antiva manages to put together this whole new Camelot story and breathe new and fresh air into the soul of the great Arthurian tale. The innovative approach to this book is promising and I'm sure if she can keep the pace, it'll be a swell sequel indeed. Keep up the good work!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Camelot Sequel - yeah!, January 5, 2012

It must have been decades since I last read a book about King Arthur. But the images of the knights of the round table, Merlin and such continued to be an evergreen fancy of mine. So when this book cropped up, I grabbed it immediately. It was awesome! I am now able to continue the journey of Camelot where I left off years back. Will definitely follow the series into its full completion... thank you for bringing back those fond memories of the Arthurian romance!

Surprisingly easy to breeze through the text and narratives - good for teenage audience methinks. Has a mix of different perspectives. Way to go - Lady Antiva (a pen name?)

I have always enjoyed stories about King Arthur and his knights. But this one takes the cake for being flat-out different in the approach as it tries to draw the reader into it. Also, it was cool to introduce new characters to the post-Arthurian world. Good effort - keep it up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Splendid new Arthurian world, January 4, 2012

Finally! A sequel to the legend of King Arthur. I was pleasantly surprised that Lady Antiva did not just confine the action to the Bretunic island but instead created a new world map around it. I think this 2-story ebook is probably of an introduction to a series... can't wait for her to launch the actual series!

About Lady Antiva (http://ladyantivasmanuscripts.yolasite.com/)
I am Lady Antiva, the new Makidon Guildmaster, recently promoted from being a Senior High Guildman (a too masculine term in my view). I live in Camelot city, and play a crucial role in chronicling various lore of Bretunia.  Hence, I have been bestowed the honor as being the co-author of 'The Book of Lore', deputy to Porthios, the Loremaster.  I am entrusted with the Guild Fellowship Staff, a tall slender rod of gold metal, encrusted with complex runes, impeccably carved, some small enough to cover with a finger yet more complex than a spider’s web. The top of the Staff is curled into a fanciful hook, a symbol of unity and brotherhood.
