The World’s First Personal Electronic Rear-View Vision System the iLook360 Unveiled on Kickstarter

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CA (January 4, 2012) - SoiraCam LLC announced today that it has launched its iLook360 project on Kickstarter.com, the world’s largest online funding platform.

The iLook360 is the world’s first personal electronic rear-view vision system. Mounted on any head-worn gear, it improves a user’s visual awareness and enhances safety for people engaging in all kinds of activities.  

The system is comprised of a vertically-adjustable rear-facing ultra-wide angle lens in front of a Silicon-on-Chip micro-CAM, high-speed video processing hardware/software, and a micro head’s-up high-resolution near-to-eye display.  With the display comfortably mounted just above the eyebrow, the wearer can glance up at it and see a full panoramic view of what is directly behind.
