SharePoint Solutions Announces New Introduction to SharePoint 2010 for Server Administrators Course

Jan. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- NASHVILLE, Tenn., U.S.A. -- SharePoint Solutions, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, is offering a new three-day course for IT professionals titled “Introduction to SharePoint 2010 for Server Administrators.” A sample company will be used in the lab exercises to teach students how to apply SharePoint 2010 from concept to implementation in a typical environment.

“We created this course for professionals who need to install, configure, administer and design a Microsoft SharePoint 2010 environment. The course serves as an introduction to both SharePoint Foundation 2010 (the free edition of SharePoint 2010) and SharePoint Server 2010 Standard and Enterprise Editions,” said Jeff Cate, president of SharePoint Solutions.

Enrollment is underway for January and February classes, which will be held in Nashville, Tenn. This live instructor-led, classroom-based course is hands-on and includes a simulated installation/configuration of the SharePoint 2010 software. It also includes a comprehensive course manual, several hundred pages in length, with a distillation of the lecture content, the PowerPoint slides and the scripted hands-on lab exercises with numerous screen shots.

Although experience with SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2007 is neither required nor expected of students, the instructors will make appropriate connections in lectures for students with SharePoint experience, without confusing students new to SharePoint.
