Jan. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Charles Sailor, the New York Times Bestselling, author of the classic novel THE SECOND SON, has lowered the price of his latest thriller THE MAN WHO RODE THE TIGER to .99 cents "For a limited time only”. THE MAN WHO RODE THE TIGER will be available for this special price at Amazon Kindle, iBooks, and Nook.  This taut, five star reviewed, suspense thriller tells the story of a fathers unwavering determination to save his daughter from execution in China. David Kettering finds himself pitted against the government of China as well as the world's most powerful communist party. Expelled from China on the day of her sentencing, and with only seven days to save her life Kettering takes matters into his own hands. As the clock runs down, and with only hours to spare, Kettering finally possesses something viable to trade. When he notifies the Chinese authorities he becomes a marked and relentlessly hunted man. It seems David Kettering holds the one thing that China cannot allow to exist. THE MAN WHO RODE THE TIGER validates the belief that a single individual has the power to alter the world in a positive way, no matter the odds.

Excitement, intrigue, suspense...Thank you Charles Sailor! Wow! The adrenaline is still pulsing through my veins! You continue to be a talented writer and gifted storyteller. I could not put this incredibly compelling book down. This story is filled with thought-provoking twists from start to finish. I cannot wait to see it on the big screen and to read the next story in this series. Thanks again. ~ C Lawson

“Hard to put down - contemporary political thriller! The Tiger is China and this fast paced novel instantly puts a retired New York detective and his daughter into the center of the epic struggle between the old ways of the Communist party and those who lean towards a newer more democratic China. Her life is at stake and as it turns out possibly the future of China. It seems as if every page exposes a new twist that affects the outcome. This is an action packed thriller with a dramatic finish. I'd like to see it become a movie. ~H Chaffee

Not to be missed! Definitely worth the wait for Charles Sailor's second superb novel, "The Man Who Rode the Tiger". Mr. Sailor's first book, "The Second Son", is a magnificent work by any standard. It seems I share this view with more than a few folks, since the first printing exceeded 1.2 million copies.
Mr. Sailor has not lost his exquisite creative touch. "The Man Who Rode The Tiger" is truly the masterpiece of the intrigue/thriller genre. This book has everything an avid, discerning reader could want. Wonderful, unforgettable characters ranging from the very best of humanity to the wretched worst, a seriously excellent plot, which like the characters, is developed with a master's hand, exotic locales and action sequences that are on full-auto and astoundingly unique.
This is a compelling page-turner that will keep you up at night. I can only hope that "The Man Who Rode The Tiger" will soon become a well cast, well crafted movie.
In the interest of full and candid disclosure, I admit to one profound disappointment with "The Man Who Rode The Tiger"- it ended. ~J Albert
