NOMAD TWO WORLDS is a sweeping, multi-media collaborative art project conceived by contemporary art and fashion photographer Russell James following the Prime Minister of Australia’s 2008 “Apology” to its Indigenous people for their "profound grief, suffering and loss” caused by past governments’ culturally destructive policies and actions. The project continues to evolve and now includes Native American collaborators and Haitian artists as part of an on-going project with the Clinton Global Initiative.

The CATM Chelsea exhibition focuses on James’ work with Indigenous Australian artists Nathan Mundraby and Clifton Bieundurry, who  performed alongside Jackman in “Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway” in a Nomad themed segment of the show. The ‘Limited Editions Exhibition’ benefits the artists and the Nomad Two Worlds Foundation.

Sponsors include:CATM Chelsea, Fund Art Now, Penfolds, Ultimat Vodka, Urban Zen, Virgin Australia, Balance Water, Camera Work and Patron.

NOMAD TWO WORLDS FOUNDATION
The Nomad Two Worlds Foundation was established to promote and develop artists from Indigenous and marginalized communities. The foundation aims to achieve this by creating culturally relevant contemporary art, music, film and fashion through artistic collaborations with internationally recognized artists.  Artists are supported to participate in local, national and international promotional and economic opportunities that arise as a
result of the collaborations, and through art, cultural awareness and educational outreach activities, the foundation helps create and promote positive role models within the Indigenous community and the community at large.
