Ninja’s compact design includes a hardware implementation of the Apples ProRes codec: a bit-perfect rendition of Apple’s professional compression system that’s designed to ensure your final images look as good as when they first hit your camera’s sensor.

Ninja allows you to transfer your field video to your computer simply by reading the HDD Caddy in the reader provided separately. Which means your Ninja never leaves camera and work continues uninterrupted. The FW800 and USB 2/3 interfaces on reader allow to transfer the edit-ready videos to your local storages in minutes.

To add this you have an intuitive touchscreen that doubles as a viewfinder and playback monitor.

Atomos’ unique battery-looping technology means that you never have to interrupt a Ninja recording to swap power cells. Just unplug the old battery and replace it with a fully charged one.
