Dec. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- A new website and blog, Ye-Gods.info, was born out of the UFO experience of its creator, Gayla Groom. Groom says that once she "knew for a fact that UFOs exist," she was able to view ancient texts and religious myths "through new eyes." Her website is dedicated to sharing footnoted facts about ancient events that "should give a person pause, encourage them to reinterpret the past based on what we know now."

According to Groom, this "quest" is important because "most of the world is living in a dangerous state of superstition because they don't understand what truly happened in ancient history." Her website, http://www.Ye-Gods.info, is split into two interlocking halves: Yahweh (the God of the Jews and Christians) and Other Gods. "The Yahweh half of my site starts by proving he was an ancient thunder god worshipped by polytheists," Groom says. "Then, when Yahweh insisted he be the only god, a lot of great gods got left in the dust. What they and their ancient stories can teach needs to see the light of modern day."

The idea for Ye-Gods.info came about as a result of a UFO experience Groom "had when I was living in Portland, Oregon. I had never given much thought to UFOs, but I got interested real quick. I felt compelled to go out onto my balcony. From there, I could see some sort of plane, a speck in the distance, flying super-fast down the long straight road right to my balcony. I felt completely joyous, no fear. The plane got real big real fast, and I was thrilled. As the front of the black cylindrical flying machine hovered a few feet from my balcony, I gazed up at the smooth underside and thought, so joyously, "No rivets!" I then experienced what UFOlogists call missing time. The next thing I remember I was standing on my balcony, and I watched the black cylinder bank for a 90-degree turn, right there in front of my balcony, and I could see shimmering wings, only visible at some angles. I was loving it. Then the plane took off straight to my right, incredibly fast, disappearing almost instantly. I went back into my house. In a moment I heard a sonic boom."

Groom, a writer and editor, says that the event "reenergized" her and convinced her that "people deserve to know the truth about UFO involvement in our history."
