In January, Austin’s Painting with a Twist will host Painting with a Purpose, a benefit for Citizen Generation which is a non-profit agency. Citizen Generation creates the habit of giving through philanthropic experiences. Through their programs CharityBash, CharityLadies, and CharityVolunteers, they are on a mission to make philanthropy fun. affordable, and accessible, ultimately cultivating donors for life. Come and paint to make a difference with a local artist. The painting of the evening is Monet’s Water Lilies.

In keeping with the founders’ fundraising roots, Painting with a Twist is passionate about supporting the local communities that it serves. With its Painting with a Purpose program, the franchise locations serve as fundraising spots for local charities where at least 50 percent of the proceeds are given to organizations throughout the community.

By providing a much needed escape from reality, Painting with a Twist, a concept born of two spirited women in New Orleans following the dark days of Hurricane Katrina, is enjoying a growth spurt that has yielded more than 50 units in two short years of franchising. Painting with a Twist offers casual painting classes that are taught by a local artist step by step. You complete a specific painting in the span of 2-3hrs.
