Panorama Consulting Launches Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative

Dec. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Panorama Consulting Solutions, the global leader in independent ERP consulting, announced today that it has “adopted” a Colorado family for the Christmas holidays through the organization Volunteers of America. The effort is the first in Panorama’s newly launched corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to provide for those in need both locally and internationally. Panorama will give gifts of toys and warm winter clothing to a needy family of seven in the Denver area.

“Panorama has long supported philanthropic and non-profit endeavors both directly as well as through our ERP consulting work with organizations such as Disabled American Veterans and Focus on the Family,” said Eric Kimberling, President of Panorama Consulting Solutions. “Our new CSR program will ensure that we are able to quickly and effectively capitalize on opportunities to give back.”

Many of Panorama’s ERP consultants and executives have extensive nonprofit experience, which will be leveraged to expand the program moving forward. Portia Prescott, Managing Member of Panorama’s parent company, The Prescott Group, is active in the Colorado Leadership Council for the White House Project to support women in legislation, serves as Vice-President of the YESS Institute Board (supporting dropout prevention in Colorado) and is helping to implement the new bill HB1273 for Arts Education curriculum for all of Colorado public schools. She also is a committee member of the Colorado Creative Careers Task Force to help increase employment in Colorado. Kimberling himself has shared his business acumen for the last five years by teaching elementary school children about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through Junior Achievement. Chief Operating Officer Z. Vanessa Giacoman is board member of the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation and a past board member of the Historic Elitch Gardens Theater Foundation.

• Ipsita Mitra – Diwali Show, a community dance recital benefitting local organizations including the Colorado Springs Police Department, Colorado Springs Fire Department and Memorial Hospital – Script writer, choreographer
