International Triathlon Coaching Association Helps Couple Launch Large Triathlon Coaching Business
Rick and Gail Kattouf used the International Triathlon Coaching Association training to launch their growing coaching business. The online training certification gives fitness pros, coaches and trainers the tools to train triathletes of all levels.
Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – Operating one of the world’s largest triathlon coaching businesses, Rick and Gail translated their International Triathlon Coaching Association certification to create a coaching business that has helped athletes in almost 30 states and seven countries.
The triathlon coaching certification helps triathlon coaches construct programs for both training and racing, identify appropriate pace training zones, identify heart rate training zones and more. The multi-sport training covers both shorter sprint distances and full triathlon training.
“I am truly living my dream. Through hard work, passion, focus and an all-in commitment to be the best, I have been fortunate to have grown my coaching business worldwide, assisting others in bridging the gap between where they are and where they want to be,” said Rick Kattouf, CEO and founder of TeamKattouf, Inc. and TeamKattouf Nutrition, LLC. “One of the keys to creating a successful practice is understanding how to run a successful business. Understanding the business is critical to become a successful triathlon coach. ITCA provides great business tools that help you grow your coaching business. These tools have enabled Gail and me to grow one of the largest coaching practices in the world."
In addition to triathlon coaching, the Kattoufs offer nutrition counseling, mixed martial arts conditioning, general fitness coaching and sports-specific training. They are based in Greeneville, S.C. “Rick and Gail are an amazing example of how the right training can create the ideal conditions for success. They run an incredible triathlon coaching business, and we’re proud to share them as a shining example of how the ITCA training can motivate and change lives,” said John Spencer Ellis, founder of the International Triathlon Coaching Association and its multi-sport certification.
The online triathlon coaching certification program, which follows all the rules and regulations of USA Triathlon, offers ongoing enrollment and is valid for two years.
“ITCA provides great information about human physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics and, most importantly, business development. Too often, a coach thinks being successful is as simple as writing workouts for athletes; this is training, not coaching. If you are ready to work hard, work smart and commit 110% of your time, effort and energy to building the most successful coaching business you've ever imagined, let ITCA help provide you with the necessary tools for your dreams to become a reality,” Kattouf added.
