WQNI Launches Security Assisted Family Entertainment (SAFE)
WQNI launches SAFE, a Revolutionary Child Safety Rating System for Mobile Applications.
With one third of 11-year-olds having cell phones that connect to the mobile web, the need to educate them on how to use their mobile phone safely and monitoring content has never been more critical. With SAFE parents can be assured any content purchased through WQNI is certified and appropriate for children.
“SAFE is a rapidly maturing product.” said Michael Adler, Chef Executive Officer of WQN, Inc. “We are working with a number of content providers and software development firms to create a best of breed application for providing parental controls.”
WQN, Inc. will begin to distribute SAFE certified mobile applications in the first quarter of 2012.
