Feast takes over the running of The Swan in Great Shefford

Dec. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Feast is a premium catering and hospitality company, passionate about maintaining the tradition of the Great British Pub whilst incorporating exciting new ideas to enhance the experience for all their customers. Feast is committed to supporting local businesses, suppliers and customers and is also dedicated to using locally sourced, fair-trade and sustainable products.

As part of The CHA Group, a leading and multi award winning Marketing, PR and Consultancy Company, Colin Higgins, Founder & Managing Director of The Cheltenham-based CHA Group created Feast Events with Ned Bowron to offer a wide range of services within the Catering, Hospitality and Leisure sectors. Ned Bowron, Hospitality Director for Feast will be running The Swan on behalf of the company.

The Swan Pub will be closed for two weeks from the 2nd January 2012 for a deep clean, staff training and new menu workshop and will be re-opening Friday 13th January 2012. We believe Friday 13th is a sign of good luck!

Ned is highly experienced in hotel, catering and public house management and has been working in the catering and hospitality industry for the last 25 years. He already recruited his A-Team, including a chef duo, Gareth Jones and Artur Da Silva, who are now working on the new menus ready for the launch.

With many years of experience in different national and international environments in Award winning restaurants, Gareth and Artur have put their skills and passion together to offer a quality gastro pub menu shaped to suit local tastes.

The new management team is already working on a new exciting menu including light bites, sandwiches, a children’s selection and a full Sunday lunch menu and is also putting together regular events and monthly offers. From quality barista coffee, delicious cakes and pastries to Sunday breakfast and afternoon tea, The Swan aims to become the friendly, local village pub where family and friends can gather and good food is served with passion.

“We are thrilled to bring The Swan back to life. The Swan has a very strong local history and by working closely with local suppliers and recruiting local staff we want to pursue what has been done and achieved in the past and take it a step further to make it the centrepiece of the village.”
