USCIS agrees with Misiti Global grants petition as spouse of an abusive US citizen

Dec. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Applicant married a US citizen and the relationship seemed to be going well.  Than her husband began drinking and coming home late.  Soon he became violent and emotionally abusive.  The applicant had no US family and was afraid of her husband’s threats that if she left him he would make sure she was deported.  She reached out to Misiti Global and our attorneys informed her she could petition for her green card as the spouse of an abusive US citizen without her husband knowing.

Misiti Global put together the application and drafted a persuasive cover letter.  USCIS received it and the applicant received a prima facie approval a few weeks later.  This allowed her to qualify for certain government benefits.   A few months later applicant received her employment authorization and was able to get part time employment.  After about 5 months she received her interview and after a total of 6 months she received her green card.  
The applicant now does not have to depend on or fear her husband.  She is attending school and working with her lawful status.
