All-Spec Industries Announces Large Warehouse Addition and Building Upgrade

Dec. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- All-Spec Industries, an e-commerce company who distributes products for electronic repair, service and testing, is pleased to announce the improvement of their office building and the expansion of their supply warehouse, located just north of downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.

The addition of the warehouse, which began in June of this year, provides an additional 12,000 square feet to the current warehouse, as well as a second loading dock. A new heavy-duty, electric fork lift will also make operations more effective.  At a total of 38,000 square feet, the extra warehouse space will allow for additional stock to better serve their customers’ needs. It includes the same motion sensor, energy efficient lights that are installed in the current warehouse as well as new skylight type panels to allow for natural light.

Customers will see a direct benefit from All-Spec Industries’ warehouse addition, as having room for more stock will allow them to receive more complete orders even sooner, while limiting the number of backorders. The extra loading dock also helps to create more a more efficient transaction process. Three trucks, instead of the previous two, can now be loaded and unloaded at the same time.

The upgrade of the building, which included painting, construction and landscaping, began in September and was recently completed in November, around the same time as the warehouse.

With a new look and more storage space, All-Spec Industries’ rapidly growing business is better equipped to serve an expanding market.
