Dec. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- Two Heritage Homes’ site managers have won a National House-Building Council (NHBC) Award ahead of tough competition in the Northern Ireland and Isle of Man region.

Conor McVeigh and Mark Patton collected their awards at the NHBC ceremony held in Belfast in acknowledgment of their work on the luxury homes at Ballanard Woods, Douglas Isle of Man (http://premierproperty.im/property-for-sale/ballanard-woods/).  Their win came in the medium category for developers building between 51 and 1000 units per year in the Northern Ireland and Isle of Man region.

The prestigious ‘Pride in the Job’ industry awards look to recognise excellence in site management and follow a rigorous judging process. Site managers are assessed over an 18-month period against criteria such as consistency, leadership, technical expertise, interpretation and health and safety.

Dandara managing director Seamus Nugent added, “I am delighted that they have received independent industry recognition for the dedication and excellence they provide. It really is a great accolade and fully deserved.”

Seamus went on to add, “Both Conor and Mark always take a great pride in what they do. This is clearly evident at our Ballanard Woods development.

Ballanard Woods, which lies on the outskirts of Douglas, is a gated development of luxury homes built under the Heritage Homes Premier Collection brand. The judges noted the ‘outstanding quality of the development at Ballanard Woods’ for which Conor and Mark were equally responsible.

Winning the award will see them go up against regional winners from throughout the UK to compete for the “Supreme Awards” in January 2012. Judges from the Supreme judging panel will be visiting the Island to see Conor, Mark and the Ballanard Woods Development prior to the overall winner being announced at a Gala ceremony in London.
