The Ultimate Green Gifts - They Give You Presents

Rainforest ECO launches their iGiveTrees Campaign to let holiday shoppers stretch $5 all the way to the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil. Give a tree as a gift, and get digital presents by stellar artists and authors in return.
Dec. 17, 2011 - PRLog -- Green gift givers can feel good about buying organically grown trees at a fair trade price, that are planted by a small NGO in an endangered rainforest, and receiving inspirational tokens of thanks for their support. The iGiveTrees holiday campaign goal is to fulfill the request of their Brazilian partner organization, Instituto Oikos de Agroecologia, for 170,000 trees to replant 250 acres of degraded land this rainy season. The Atlantic Rainforest they serve is already 93% gone.

In December, holiday shoppers receive a downloadable set of 6 cards by artist Deborah Koff-Chapin. “A tree was planted in the Brazilian rainforest – Mata Atlantica – by the person who gave you this card”
prints on the back. They come complete with tree quote inserts from Shakespeare to Osho, from Woody Allen to Longfellow. Those who opt to give trees monthly during 2012 will receive recordings from Michael Bernard Beckwith (The Secret, PBS Special: The Answer is You), Rickie Byars Beckwith and the Agape International Choir, Marie Diamond (The Secret), Brad Yates (The Tapping Solution), Katherine Woodward Thomas (Calling In The One), Marcia Weider (Dream University), Karen Russo (The Money Keys), and others.
