Fort Myers HVAC Company Sponsored 2nd Annual Event for the Gulf Coast Humane Society

Dec. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- Synergy air, a Fort Myers HVAC company, recently sponsored the Gulf Coast Humane Society’s (GCHS) 2nd Annual holiday party and auction fundraising event called “A Home for the Holidays”. This event, held on December 10th at Coconut Point in Estero, was GCHS’s biggest fundraising event of the year. It featured food and drinks, live entertainment, and live and silent auctions. A few patrons even went home with a new best friend – a GCHS shelter pet!

Last year’s inaugural “A Home for the Holiday’s” event drew attendees from all across southwest Florida who enjoyed great food, live entertainment, exciting live and silent auctions, and that night even went home with a new best friend – a GCHS shelter pet!

“We enjoyed the opportunity to contribute to this event, and help such a worthy organization,” said Mike Clark, Synergy Air (http://www.synergy-ac.com/about/). “At Synergy, we feel it is essential, as a local business, to give back to the community and support events such as these.”

Attendees to the event had the opportunity to bid on more than 100 items in live and silent auctions, with proceeds from all purchases going to benefit the Gulf Coast Humane Society. Some of these items included a one-week stay in Cozumel, a golf foursome with PGA Tour Pro Derek Lamely, autographed memorabilia by celebrities, private dinners at exquisite restaurants, golf outings, fine art & jewelry, a sunset yacht cruise, and designer doghouses.

Of course, there were also adoptable pets at the event ready to discover their own personal home for the holidays!

Clark adds, “The Humane Society did a nice job with the event, and we were glad to be a part of it. It was a good reminder of the excellent work they are doing in our community.”
