Dec. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- IndianArtCollectors.com commences the year with "My Flowers" by Swati Kale
IndianArtCollectors.com commences this year with the beautiful depiction of flowers   by Swati Kale. Living in ‘Panchgani’, the famous hill station of Maharashtra, Swati Kale has played with the brush-strokes on various media to express all the fundamentals of nature. Doing so, she has developed her unique way of expression. Depicting and portraying the different moods of flowers, Swati Kale has produced a magnificent series of canvases titled 'My Flowers'.
Bright, vivid colours formed into delicate blossoms through sharp, clear brushstrokes is what Swati Kale's art is all about. She has wide technical ability of creating her own compositions directly on the canvas by experimenting with acrylic medium. Her free brushstrokes convey her excitement for the paint. The use of shadows and highlights are minimal - just enough to accentuate the outlines of the petals. The colourful flowers harmonize perfectly with the softer tones of the background. The flowers themselves have an almost magical quality, real yet intangible at the same time. The vibrant colours and the flowers almost speak to the viewer of her torment and joy.
Swati is of the view that flowers are just unaware of their surroundings and environment; they emit happiness and spell beauty. For flowers, there are no eternal restrictions or boundaries. It has no limits for generosity. She believes that flowers, as quiet spectators, possess no inhibitions and expectations. Through her paintings, she tries to express the hidden meanings and presence of these natural wonders. "Flowers are my ultimate inspiration to paint. It is the most wonderful moment and experience for me when I paint and my soul becomes a Blossoming Soul" says Swati Kale.
