Caring Transitions of Central Ohio to Hold Final Estate / Tag Sale in 2011

Dec. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Caring Transitions of Central Ohio will hold its final estate / tag sale of the 2011 year in Delaware, Ohio on Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will be held at the new STUFF retail store location at 51 N Sandusky Street in downtown Delaware.

This sale will feature Christmas decorations at significant savings (including pre-lit artificial trees - some already decorated - wreaths, other greenery, candles, nativity scenes, etc.). There are also many holiday serving ware for family celebrations including large Christmas sets of china (place settings for 12), a special series of collectible plates for the 12 Days of Christmas. Tons of snowman, santa, penguin, elf decorations.

In addition, there is a large collection of vintage salt & pepper shaker sets - many Occupied Japan and more contemporary sets from Disney, Warner Brothers, etc. There is also a large Asian collection including porcelain ginger jars, sake sets, etc. Lots to choose from. Lots of original pieces that you are not likely to find elseware.

Another offering is a large clown figurine collection, with clowns of all shapes and sizes. Some are contemporary and others are vintage. There is a large selection of vintage glass including EAPG, etched glass, slag and carnival glass from famous makers like Fenton, Indiana Glass, Westmoreland, and more. Includes a fabulous carnival glass punch set! Fine crystal collector's pieces from Waterford. Shoppers will also find a wide variety of partial and complete dinnerware including Pfaltzgraff, Japan, Johnson Bros, and several hand painted Nippon pieces.

Vintage copper pieces including decorative and serving ware. Lots of vintage kitchen collectibles like stackable porcelain spice racks, lots of vintage Pyrex, tons of glassware that will be sold at deep discounts. Vintage collectible drinking glass sets, swanky swigs, German beer steins. Silver plate. Several vintage oil lamps and accessories.

There are vintage dolls including bisque doll heads (and vintage doll accessories such as antique high chair, crib, and wooden cradle), vintage, artisan and contemporary jewelry (and several vintage jewelry boxes), vintage accessories like hats, gloves, collectible perfume bottles, etc. Also lots of primitives - large crocks, enamel pieces, pottery pieces, planters, vintage bucket and so much more.

Although there are a large number of smalls at this sale, you will also find a nice 1960s dining room suite, an antique table on casters, an antique rope bed with Jenny Lind styling, antique secretary / bookcase, highly collectible Thomasville girls bedroom furniture set.
