Dec. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- In ancient China, as in many cultures, even today, marriage brought two separate families together with the resulting conflicts.
No more is this evident than when the "New Wife" comes up against her husbands younger sister.

In Ancient China it was not uncommon for a new wife to have a bad relationship with her sisters in law, no matter she be a commoner or, as in this case, a Lady of substance.
The relationship was not always harmonious.
Unlike western culture where the term sister is quite explicit, to Chinese it has a far wider meaning as is shown here.
This original hand made drawing shows a different situation, the Lady gets on well with her younger sister.

This drawing is a new release into the Art of China gallery, is a perfect partner for Hacky Sak Girl, which is a drawing also showing peace and tranquility, both highly prized virtues in the ancient Ming Dynasty Confucian Culture.
