Dec. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The Welsh government is waiting to learn whether its budget will be topped up as a result of UK government plans to invest in infrastructure. JNR Enterprise is excited by the prospect that the government is keep to spend more money in Wales, the Managing Director says ‘Wales is definitely worth investing in as a growing nation, this is why we have set up an office in Newport Road, Cardiff and we will continue to find new campaigns and projects to work on.’

In 2010-11 local government is responsible for £8.6 billion of public spending in Wales. The majority of the £7.5bn local government revenue expenditure is funded by the revenue support grant (RSG) from the Welsh Government which is supplemented by council tax, Business Rates (National Non-Domestic Rates), specific grants and earned income, such as car parking charges, leisure centre fees, etc. The biggest spending services are education, social services and housing. JNR Enterprises also contributes and provide support thought the charity fundraising they do on behalf of national and international charities, the Managing Director continues to say, ‘so much work goes into keeping Wales moving forward, we are always keen to take part in new fundraising initiatives that will help the local community.

Chancellor George Osborne is expected to provide £5bn of capital spending, funded by cuts and savings elsewhere, for schemes around the UK. A Welsh government source said Wales could get a "hefty" boost in the Autumn Statement on Tuesday.  A percentage of money spent in England on devolved areas of policy is handed to the Welsh government,
JNR Enterprise agrees with the statement made by Carwyn Jones First Minister ‘The number of people unemployed continues to grow, the jobs we need for our young people are simply not there. Mr Jones said his administration was doing all it could, but the UK government had more power to make a difference to the economy. A forecast by the economic think-tank the OECD that the UK could slip back into recession over the winter "confirms our growing fears for the economic outlook," Mr Jones added.

Managing Director of JNR Enterprise goes further to say ‘I am worried at the prospect that the economy will start going backwards. Here at Junior Enterprise we are very ambitious and strive to continue to develop our marketing strategies. The goals we have for the company include expanding to new cities with more campaigns. Even though things may be backwards for most companies it definitely is not the case for Junior Enterprises!’
