-- The service delivery manager at Yorkshire IT support provider Vital Network Solutions has been awarded the internationally recognised ITIL accreditation.
The accreditation help further the company’s continued commitment to staff development and the highest possible standards of service delivery to its clients.
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is the world’s leading business IT service management framework for identifying, planning, delivering and supporting IT services.
The accreditation comes after Daniel Sykes passed his V3 Foundation exam, which looks to ensure a systematic and professional approach to the management of IT services.
Daniel said: “I’m delighted to have the ITIL qualification under my belt as I continue to work on improving and refining the processes behind the delivery of our support services.
“The training and qualification has given me a much deeper understanding of the ITIL methodology and how this can help ensure that we are following recognised industry best practices and delivering reliable, consistent and unparalleled levels of support to our clients.”
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Network Solutions, said: “ITIL is recognised throughout the world as the de-facto best practice standard for the delivery of IT services and support.
“We’ve always strived to follow the ITIL framework within the business, and the addition of another ITIL certified member of staff leading the support team should ensure we continue on our mission of delivering the best customer support in the industry.”
